SGE has introduced the new Series II syringe range, the next generation of analytical syringes. New materials, design modifications and production methods have been introduced to ensure that the Series II syringes give the best quality and long life performance that modern syringe technology can provide. Series II syringes have the following features:
- New packaging, order codes and part numbers
- All Series II syringes are fitted with an oval anti-roll flange
- Removeable needle syringes have a new seal design (solid PTFE)
- Simplified repair and needle replacement
Note: All fixed needle syringes are available in removeable needle versions. Please inquire for more information if you have this need.
Various needle styles are available for a wide range of applications. Styles other than those listed below are available. Please inquire for more information. Style #1 Cone needle tip. This style has been developed to withstand the multiple injection demands of autosamplers. They are also standard on microvolume and Jade valve syringes and recommended with predrilled septa. Style #2 Bevel needle tip. A 20º bevel tip is the standard general purpose needle tip style supplied with SGE syringes. It is designed for optimum septum penetration and to prevent septum coring. SGE manufactures many other syringes and space does not permit us to list them all. If you are using an SGE syringe not listed above, contact us with the SGE part number and we will obtain it for you.
MICROVOLUME SYRINGES (REMOVEABLE NEEDLE)
SGE's plunger-in-needle syringes combine maximum accuracy with rugged, durable construction. Because the plunger extends into the needle, 100% of the sample is dispensed. The very fine plunger wire of the 0.5uL and 1uL syringes is uniquely protected by a strong sheath and guide tube. The needles and plungers are easily removed for cleaning and replacement.

SUPERFLEXTM SYRINGES (FIXED NEEDLE)
SGE's super elastic alloy plungers combined with the patented plunger protection guide and button reinforcement ensures precise and smooth injections. These new technology plungers return to their original shape even if bent or twisted, and with the added SGE features, are over 5 times more rigid over other competitive flexible plunger syringes.

GUIDED PLUNGER SYRINGES (FIXED NEEDLE)
The guided plunger syringe line has overcome the problem of bend plungers commonly associated with low volume syringes. The extended barrel and reinforced plunger provide a rugged syringe

GAS TIGHT SYRINGES
The gas tight syringes are suitable for both gas and liquid samples where inertness is important. All plungers are replaceable and are fitted with precision machined teflon tips.
