The Educational GC Models of GC
are ideal for classroom situations where the principles of
chromatography are demonstrated on equipment the students will
encounter in industry. These same GCs are also widely used by
thrifty labs for simple applications such as landfill gas
analysis and stack gas monitoring because of their low cost
and complete upgrade-ability with other SRI detectors and
injectors should analytical needs change in the future.
The Model 203 PeakSimple data
system is built in to the chassis for PC based data
acquisition. With the 203 data system installed, column
pressure and temperature programming up to 400°C are
available, although cool-down from high temperature is slow
due to the omission of the fast cooling components and
circuits included on other SRI GC models. Increase the cool
down speed by upgrading to the Educational TCD with fast cool
down fans.
