| The
Breath Analyzer GC easily determines the chemical composition
of human breath.
The Breath Analyzer GC is
configured with an FID; a hydrogen generator and
built-in air compressor provide all the system gases, and a
thermal breath tube desorber. As such, this GC can easily be
installed in doctor's offices, patient locations, athletic
facilities, etc. without the need of compressed gas cylinders.
The patients breath is
collected in a re-usable fused silica lined stainless steel
tube which is packed with an adsorbent material. This
tube is then inserted into the desorption chamber on the front
of the GC where it is automatically heated and back-flushed
onto a 30 meter column for separation and detection.
