CAPILLARY COLUMNS - POLYIMIDE AND ALUMINUM-CLAD FUSED SILICA

PRODUCT OVERVIEW
CAPILLARY COLUMNS
ULTRA ALLOY SS COLUMNS
GC CONSUMABLES
SRI PORTABLE GCs
PEAK GAS GENERATORS
Quadrex fused silica columns are produced with the industry standard polyimide outer coating (390°C maximum temperature) for most general GC applications or with an aluminum-clad outer coating (440°C maximum temperature) for high temperature applications such as crude oils, waxes, and triglycerides.

All polyimide-clad fused silica columns have the prefix designation of '007-' while all aluminum-clad fused silica columns are designated with a '400-' prefix.

Each stationary phase is synthesized and cleaned in-house to insure column to column reproducibility. All Quadrex phases are bonded to the silica substrate and cross-linked. A stringent QA / QC program governs the production of all in-house phases which results in accurate selectivity, reproducibility, and outstanding thermal stability.

Every Quadrex fused silica capillary column is pre-conditioned, QC tested, and shipped with a clear and easy to read Capillary Column Test Data Sheet. This gives you all of the pertinent information regarding the columns' configuration, test operating conditions, and maximum programmed and isothermal operating temperatures. Column efficiency, activity and film thickness are easily evaluated using an appropriately designed test mixture. We maintain a computer data base of all column data in order to assure you of column-to-column reproducibility.

Hot Tip
ALWAYS SEAL YOUR COLUMN UNDER AN INERT GAS WHEN NOT IN USE.   FLAME SEALING IS THE BEST. SECURING THE ENDS WITH A SEPTA IS ALSO SUFFICIENT FOR SHORT TERM STORAGE.

Hot Tip
USING CARRIER GAS FILTERS WILL ENSURE PURITY OF THE GASES RUNNING THROUGH YOUR COLUMN.
